At MIDCARDS, we are big fans of the art on MTG cards. So much so, a big feature of our Instagram content is matching the cards with nail art.
After each month we will gather together our matches in a blog post, with a short explanation of how we would use each card in a Commander deck.

Tainted Pact
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A great instant for card advantage. Giving some flexibility with ‘may’.
Use in decks with Black.

Dragon Mask
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An artifact to provide a buff and possible protection.
Pay 3 and tap this artifact to give your creature +2/+2 and bounce it back to your hand if it survives!
Use in any deck making use of ETB abilities.

Think Twice
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An instant to draw a card.
Cast from your graveyard for the flashback cost to draw again!
Use in decks with Blue.

Crush the Weak
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A sorcery to deal 2 damage to each creature; sending them to exile if they would die.
Spread the cost with the use of ‘Foretell’.
This could even be a potential board wipe!
Use in decks with Red.

Giant Ladybug
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A creature to get a land to the top of your library.
It’s a flying blocker too!
Use in recursion decks with Green.

Scales of Shale
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An instant to give a creature a buff for the turn, as well as lifelink and indestructible.
A potential cost reduction if you control any Lizards.
Use in decks with Black containing Lizards.

Arborback Stomper
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A 5/4 creature with trample and life gained on entering the battlefield!
Use in recursion/flicker decks with Green.

Invigorating Falls
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A sorcery to gain life.
It counts creatures in all graveyards, so would be great to cast after a board wipe!
Use in decks with Green.
